100 Mile Cycle for Myton Hospice
On Sunday 6th August, our designer Brett Wright will be taking part in the Warwick Myton Hospice Cycle Challenge. There are three different routes designed for cyclists of all abilities, but Brett will be facing the most grueling course, the 100 mile route for advanced cyclists.
Although he will get to ride through the pretty villages of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, the 100 mile route is definitely not one for the faint hearted! It will include 9 major hill climbs including a timed ‘King of The Mytons’ challenge, a deviously wicked hill climb where he will have to reach the summit safely in the best time possible to have a chance of earning the coveted title of ‘King of the Mytons’, a unique winners jersey and trophy.
2017 marks the 35th anniversary of The Myton Hospices and this year Myton Hospice are aiming to raise £30,000 as a team through this event. This would be enough to fund one bed for just over 56 days of their inpatient unit care.
