Istead and our director Stuart Walker were recognised recently with a special contribution award at The Digital Forensics Conference, celebrating 10 years of audio visual production and technical support at the event.

The conference is attended by global police forces and intelligence agencies to discuss emerging communication technologies. Amidst tight security, due to the nature of the content and the seniority of investigators attending, the event covers evolving communication methods and how they can be monitored to ensure the safety of users and avoid service abuse by criminal and terrorist activity.

The event has grown from the 2007 conference held over two days with just over 100 delegates to this year’s 6 day event requiring full residency of a major London venue to accommodate in excess of 2000 delegates. Attendees were offered the choice of over 200 presentations and workshops delivered by a range of sector experts from across the world. We provided all the AV requirements for the event which covered two large conference rooms and multiple smaller meeting rooms. They were also the recommended AV supplier to exhibitors in the two product innovation exhibition halls.

Over the 10 years the event has welcomed 28,000 delegates and has offered 900 different presentations on varying communications topics and is viewed as the worldwide flagship event for this sector.
