Behind the Scenes at TBNS 2016
If you follow us on Facebook and Twitter you would have seen that we recently delivered ‘The Business Networking Show (TBNS) 2016‘ at Wolverhampton Racecourse. TBNS is the UK’s largest networking event and this year’s event was the biggest ever. If there’s always something you can rely on as an attendee at this event it’s the range of exceptional Keynote speakers.
This year we saw Brad Burton, Gary Turner, Stefan Thomas, Croz Crossley, Adele McLay, Mark Asquith and Jackie Chappell all up on our stage, looking and sounding amazing! That is providing they give us a proper cue *cough cough* Brad Burton (sorry not sorry Brad, ha!). But who was it making these superstar presenters look amazing? Well to answer the question quite simply, that was us!
We’re usually hidden away at the back of a conference room ensuring all the technical aspects of the whole day run smoothly. It still makes us smile when we’ve spoken to people at events we have delivered who hadn’t even noticed we were there! Behind the scenes, so much work goes into ensuring the sound, lighting, projection, presentations, backdrop and staging are all spot on for our client, presenters and the audience. Many people have told us over the years that they thought our stage and set were just part of the room, or that they thought the sound ‘just worked’. They’re right with the latter, the sound does ‘just work’, when you have the right equipment, expertise and years of technical experience.
As for the set and staging, we have a very talented in-house multimedia design team who create 3D set designs for every event we do. Creating our designs and turning them into reality really is a proud moment for all of the team. If you’d like to see this year’s TBNS design in a video format, check out our YouTube channel here.
