How Ai Can Be Helpful To The Audio-Visual Industry
How Ai Can Help The Audio-Visual Industry
The implementation of Ai is helping almost every industry type across the world. Undoubtably, the adoption and fast paced enhancement of Ai in the audio-visual industry is adding new features to events that were either impossible or far too expensive for most event organizers budgets.
With companies such as Microsoft already providing the market leading presentation software, PowerPoint, having them at the cutting edge of Ai development is having a great benefit for the presentation and audio-visual industries.

The use of Ai has adopted in the events industry for many years. For example, when setting up ultrawide projection systems that blend images from multiple projectors, a projector technician would use a digital camera and Ai based software to analyse the projected image and adjust the projectors, so they have seamless blends.
Ai software built into high- end sound mixing desks can automix a variety of inputs simultaneously. This allows the microphone setup for a 10 person Q&A panel session to easily be handled by the Ai mixer so that only the microphone for the person currently speaking is activated and all the others are muted, avoiding the terrible feedback squeals if all 10 microphones were constantly on.
Ai Benefiting The Audio-Visual Team
These uses of Ai benefit the AV team, but an event attendee would be oblivious to its integration.

More recently, modern Ai advancements concentrate on improving the delegates’ experience of the event. Until recently, having simultaneous language translation at an event was an expensive luxury. Now, apps have developments that allow your AV company to stream the presenter’s speech to a remote Ai server that instantly provides a variety of language translations that delegates can tune into via a smartphone app. Conferences can now be attended by delegates from across the globe who can tune in to their native language feed.
As previously mentioned, Microsoft and their Co-pilot Ai is adding extra features to their class leading PowerPoint software. With the simple tick of a box in PowerPoint, the program can listen to your voice as you present and provide subtitles at the bottom of the screen to assist hard of hearing viewers watching your presentation.
YouTube Using Ai
YouTube offers a similar service to their YouTube Live Studio offer. If you choose to live stream your event through their studio streaming software, the viewer can just click a button and can view subtitles for all spoken content.

The development of Ai voice and video generators are moving forward at such a fast pace that very soon you will be able to have your favourite Hollywood movie actor or rock star address your audience by video or audio clip and the delegates will wonder how you managed to organize such an amazing addition to your event.
