Our Successful Week!
Every year we provide the audio visual and technical support for AELP’s National Conference at the Novotel London West Hotel. Before any event that requires a stage and set, our designer will create a 3D design to replicate the room so our clients can really visualise how their set will look at their chosen venue, ensuring we have a successful week!
This year’s set for the conference included a large multi-level stage area, a branded backdrop with one large main screen showing all PowerPoint slides and presenter visuals, and two smaller side screens displaying the live camera images. Uplighters, intelligent lights and spotlighting was also used to illuminate the key areas of the stage and room.
Below shows how we turned this design into reality.
In light of the recent EU Referendum, the conference had a ‘European’ theme. The room was decorated with flag-bunting, ballot box centrepieces and voting slip-styled menus. Nick Boles MP was a speaker at the event and the entertainment was provided by Paloma Faith’s band ‘The Faithettes’ who took to our stage and used our equipment.
Every year our client’s event is a roaring success and this year was no exception. We even made it into the conference brochure!

After the event, each member of our crew were rewarded with a crate of beer for all of their hard work leading up to and during the conference. We also received some lovely feedback from our client’s events team:
