Venue of the Month- February 2016
Our experience in working in a number of different venues across the UK and Europe has given us the idea to recognise and showcase our favourite event venues for you every month.
February’s venue of the month is the Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 5. Situated just off the M4 and M25, this venue is in an easily accessible location with ample parking facilities. It’s also connected to Heathrow airport via the ‘Heathrow Hoppa’ service provided by the National Express which runs at regular intervals during peak times.
With modern event spaces, this venue houses a collection of contemporary designed meeting and conference rooms to accommodate anything from a small business meeting to a global conference. The Gallery Rooms can hold up to 1,170 guests in a theatre style and up to 800 guests for a banquet. There are smaller rooms available for more intimate meetings and events.
We recently supported a conference for a client in the Gallery Suite for an audience of 300 people. Due to another event taking place in the conference room, our crew had to set up through the night from 3am, with the conference scheduled to start at 9am. Being an AV crew, we’re used to these sort of time constraints but it doesn’t make things easy! However we had some fantastic support from the hotel’s operations and events team. We were given plenty of refreshments throughout the set-up, duration and de-rig of the conference with one member of the team standing out to us, Meetings and Events Supervisor- Roberto. He was always on hand if we needed anything and took really good care of us!

We would definitely recommend holding a future event at the Hilton London Heathrow T5. It’s an impressive venue with modern decor, fantastic event facilities and a support team that couldn’t have been more helpful!
