March Charity Events

We are extremely proud to be a part of our chosen charity’s fundraising events. We provide full audio visual support for KidsOut and The Sick Children’s Trust at a number of their events throughout the year at a discounted rate.

On Thursday 3rd March, we supported the KidsOut ‘Question of Sport’ event at Elland Road in Leeds. KidsOut helps give children throughout the UK who are living in refuge, economic hardship or with other acute disadvantages, by giving them fun and positive experiences to enjoy. With just over 830 guests attending, the night consisted of a champagne reception and a three-course meal followed by various games and prizes, including the main quiz created by our multimedia and design team. It was a fantastic night and to top it off, £111,098 was raised for disadvantaged children, smashing previous years’ records! Sporting star Kevin Keegan lead the quiz alongside other guest appearances including comedian Lea Roberts and several Leeds United football legends.

There are 7 ‘Question of Sports’ events held in different cities across the country every year that help raise money for this amazing cause. To find out more about the charity or if you would like more information, visit their website here.

A week later, we provided the AV for The Sick Children’s Trust Supper Club at the prestigious Cafe Royal in London on Wednesday 9th March. 103 guests joined the charity at this historic venue for a champagne reception, three-course meal and a night full of entertainment. The evening concluded on a fantastic result, raising a staggering £128,835 through ticket sales, auctions and pledges. The Sick Children’s Trust provide free home from home accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support for families with sick children in hospital.

This was another star-studded event as several celebrities and socialites attended the evening. We even spotted comedian and TV presenter Graham Norton who later went on to mention the success of the event the following day on BBC Radio 2!
