Doing Our Bit
We were recently recommended over Facebook to a local school who were on the look out for technical help with their school production.
It was a bit of a cry for help as reduced funding has left the school without some equipment they have previously had access to.
Hearsall Community Primary School, located in Earsldon, Coventry will be putting on a performance of the Lion King over the next week. We recently headed over to the school where we set up some headset microphones and gave the teachers some guidance on music playback from their computer. We also spent some time EQ’ing (basically making them sound better) their stage microphones.
It’s very different from our usual world of seamless corporate events but the pupils and teachers were overwhelmed with the support we gave them. Just giving up a few hours of our time and lending them some of our sound equipment has made a huge difference to the school. It looks like it’ll be a great show!
We always like to support our local community where we can and it’s been great to assist the school with their production.
