Creative Technical Excellence
This week saw our resident Cameraman and Video Editor, Dan Plant, mark his 19th year of working at Istead. Over the years Dan has been involved in thousands of events all across the UK and Europe but three memories in particular stay at the forefront of his mind.
1. In 2000, Dan was asked by Avondale Caravans to do a Sean Connery voice-over for their annual conference. Occasionally he will still treat us to his classic impersonation, albeit a not very good one, but we can always count on him to make the team laugh!
2. Probably his most memorable highlight followed the success of a great event in The Netherlands in 2001. Our client was so impressed with our support and service that they took the Istead team out to celebrate in Amsterdam. No need to say any more on that matter… 😉
3. One of Dan’s best bits of work he’s created in his time at Istead was the ultra high-resolution visual sequence he produced in 2010 for a client on our ultra high-res programming system. Very clever indeed.
