“Well here I am writing to thank you again for yet another superb delivery of AV support from Istead at the recent AELP National Conference 2017.
As we have been doing this for so long now and you deliver year on year, it is hard to find something different each time to say as a way of showing my appreciation and gratitude for all you and your team do to support us.
Having said that I will try to recall just a few of the special moments this year.
Firstly, thank you to Dan for the voting countdown clock (and in our corporate colours too), the video clips of ours and the sponsors logos which truly looked spectacular. It was noticed and positively commented on by many.
Secondly, to Brett for all the work he does on the stage design and graphics for the event and indeed, at the conference in managing the presentations.
Thirdly, to Jay for the sound. I bet he was glad there were no diva bands this year to cause him issues!!
Fourthly, to Stuart and Dan for the filming – can’t be easy sitting in their little towers all day!
And thank you to the rest of your team too who support the workshops and everything else they do which I probably don’t even know about.
And lastly, to Neil. No matter what we ask you for and often last minute such as the ‘can we do a live stream from Greece for an award?’ request, and ‘can you find me 15 pairs of blingy stilettos for the gala dinner tables?’ and while you’re at it, ‘may we have some very large shoe props?’ at the last minute and finally, let’s not forgot the ‘buy Mark some heels’ request!!! And you didn’t even mind trying them on and no doubt, trying them out first! Brilliant Neil. I know Rachael played a huge part in this too so so thank you to her also – great job. Rachael, we never found a single shoe post-dinner as they were either paired up and taken away as souvenirs or to wear for their next night out!! I am so pleased they went down so well.
We have some great suppliers that support AELP at times such as this but you guys certainly go well beyond the call of duty year after year.
It has been a pleasure once again – thank you.
